AM-PAC CAT
Computerized Adaptive Testing
The AM-PACTM Basic Mobility, Daily Activity and Applied Cognitive item banks can be administered as Computerized Adaptive Tests (CATs).
CATs use a computer-based algorithm to administer items based on the patient’s response to previous items. CATs customize item selection to match the ability of each person. As each new item is administered, a person’s score is estimated with increasing precision. The CAT administration stops when a predetermined number of items and/or a specific level of precision is reached.
The AM-PAC CAT administration is ideal for tracking change in a person’s function over the continuum of care from acute inpatient care to outpatient.
Computer access is required to administer a CAT.
